We are learning to retell a story March 2008
Once upon a time there lived a princess. The princess was sad because she could not go out of the kingdom. She asked her mother why she couldn’t go out of the kingdom. “Because there is an ogre who guards the kingdom.” The princess said she could stop him from doing that to her. SO she got on her horse and rode to the gate. She said to the ogre “I want to go out!” and he said “NO!!!!! “But I’m a magic princess. I can grant you a wish.” “I don’t want a wish,” he said. So she rode her horse behind some trees. When night came she hid behind some bushes. She heard the ogre. He was saying something. He was saying “I want my son back. I should not have let him out.” When morning came she told that the ogre that she would bring back what he wants. He said okay, so he let the princess out. She brought the prince home and the prince and the princess got married and lived happily ever after.
