My favourite thing this term was the Kahikatea Swimming Carnival. At first I did not want to do it. For the first race I got into the pool but I didn’t have my goggles so I had to race down to the classroom. Then I ran back again but I missed one race. I didn’t mind. The water was very cold and everyone was cheering for me. At the end my mum got me a bottle of Phoenix for lunch. I hope we can do it again next year.
