When I go through the leaves in autumn it feels crunchy and when the sticks are there in feels prickly.
When I go through the leaves it looks pretty with some of the leaves on the grounds.
When I hear the sounds of the leaves and the wind it sounds like rain on the roof.

Term 1

My favourite thing this term was the Kahikatea Swimming Carnival. My dad came to the carnival and he cheered for me. I did breast stroke, over arm, a length underwater and a length. I won the girls underwater length race. I can’t wait until next year!By Aimee

On Tuesday Matua Elmars came to Room 13. In his hand he had a Huntsman spider. He showed it to us. It looked creepy. It doesn’t make webs, it looks brown or black. I think it is as big as a rock. Frankie got to hold it. Frankie wasn’t scared. The Huntsman spider comes from Australia.
