Tiger, as terrifying as a lion.
Tumbling tigers running around.
Terrible teeth as sharp as a knife.

Fireworks

Looks like it is raining because it is dripping.
In the ears it goes BOOM!
Smells like gunpowder.

In the holidays I had my birthday. I got two packets of Lego. Daniel gave me a movie ticket and Jonti gave me two presents, one was an Alien maker and the other was a brainbox.

Have you ever seen a baby chick?
Yellow fluffy, squeaking peep, scratching quickly.
Delightful.

The storm felt like the trees smashing on the car.
The storm sounded like wind swooping around
the clouds.
The storm looked like my basketball hoop
falling down.
It felt scary. It felt stormy.

Murphy and Stella ran up the muddy bank. They ran halfway when Murphy found a bone and he gobbled it up with Stella. They were so hungry they fell down the bank and Murphy hurt his tail. He jumped onto Stella’s back. It was getting very late and they were so tired that they couldn’t walk. Murphy fell asleep on Stella’s back. They slowly made their way home. When Helen came home they were both fast asleep.

Autumn feels like sharp leaves falling and gliding from the trees.
Autumn sounds like leaves crunching under my feet.
Autumn looks like colourful leaves and trees moving in the wind.

Term 1

My favourite thing this term was swimming because we learned to do a starfish and we got to play there. I piggybacked someone and it was fun. We walked up there and sometimes we went up there with Room 6. When we walked up we went by Room 11. The water was cold at the swimming pool and Max got the key. It was fun there. I want to go it again.

On Tuesday Matua Elmars brought a Huntsman spider into our class. The builders found it by room 5. It was hairy. Frankie held it.
